A play-based Korean language program for children ages 4 and up. Focused on speaking and listening through songs, movement, picture books, and traditional Korean games — building natural language acquisition at an early age.

Korean Language

Structured instruction from complete beginner to advanced. Students are placed in the appropriate level after a placement test.

Introductory

In-Person & Online Complete beginners

For students with no prior Korean experience. Starts with Hangul consonants and vowels, building up to basic vocabulary, simple sentences, and pronunciation.

Builds on foundational skills with basic grammar and everyday conversation. All four skills — reading, writing, speaking, and listening — are developed in a balanced way.

Students at this level can hold conversations on a range of topics. Focuses on developing reading comprehension and written expression.

Advanced grammar, literary analysis, and logical writing. This course also prepares students for the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean).

Culture & History

Traditional Korean Culture

In-Person

🕐 Saturday (alongside language classes)  ·  All ages

Hands-on experience with Korean holidays, traditions, and folk games. Tied to the seasonal calendar — Seollal, Chuseok, Dano and more — students engage with traditional crafts, foods, and games.

Learn about key figures and periods in Korean history through stories rather than rote memorization. Connected to field trips and cultural events throughout the year.

  • Key figures: King Sejong, Admiral Yi Sun-sin, and more
  • Comparing Korean and Canadian/world history
  • Participation in Korean Independence Day and Hangul Day events
